Μία νέα τροποποιητική μελέτη υποβλήθηκε για το έργο αποθήκευσης CO2 στον Πρίνο, και ξεκίνησε η διαδικασία τροποποίησης της ΑΕΠΟ λόγω ουσιώδους μεταβολής των περιβαλλοντικών επιπτώσεων όπως αναφέρεται στο σχετικό ηλεκτρονικό μητρώο του Υπουργείου Περιβάλλοντος.

Στο πλαίσιο του 5ου Power & Gas Forum που έγινε στην Αθήνα, η διευθύνουσα σύμβουλος της Energean στην Ελλάδα, Κατερίνα Σάρδη, γνωστοποίησε τρία σημαντικά βήματα που βρίσκονται σε εξέλιξη από την εταιρεία, ενώ ανέφερε πως είναι σε πλήρη ανάπτυξη το project αποθήκευσης CO2 στον Πρίνο της Καβάλας, μια επένδυση της τάξης των 400 εκατ. ευρώ στην πρώτη της φάση και η οποία θα υπερβεί τα 900 εκατ. ευρώ συνολικά. Παράλληλα εξέφρασε τον προβληματισμό της για τις γραφειοκρατικές καθυστερήσεις.

Πιθανότητα επέκτασης στους 3 εκατ. τόνους για την αποθήκη CO2 στον Πρίνο
