The Minister of Environment and Energy is launching a public online consultation today, Tuesday, November 4,2025, on the draft law of the Ministry of Environment and Energy entitled: “Regulations for the capture, use, transport, and storage of carbon dioxide – Transposition of Directive 2009/31/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 April 2009 on the storage of carbon dioxide in geological formations and amending Council Directive 85/337/EEC, Directives 2000/60/EC, 2001/80/EC, 2004/35/EC, 2006/12/EC and 2008/1/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, and Regulation (EC) No 1013/2006 (L 140)’.and 2008/1/EC, and Regulation (EC) No 1013/2006 (L 140).In this context, all social partners and interested parties are invited to participate in the public consultation by submitting their proposals for improving the provisions of the above draft law.
