SUBJECT: INVITATION – INFORMING THE M.M.E. FOR THE RALLY ON 12/03/25 IN THASOS
The Coordinating Committee of the stakeholders of Thassos, which has been formed on the occasion of the universal opposition of the residents of Thassos to the attempted storage of industrial gas pollutants -CO2- from countries of South-Eastern Europe in the depleted oil field of Prinos, informs you that on Wednesday 12/03/25, at 16.30 pm, at the Heroes’ Square of Thassos Port, organizes an open protest rally – rally demanding the cancellation of the planned storage of Dioxide at a stone’s throw from our emerald island.
We defend our inalienable right to the safety of our lives, the preservation of the paramount tourist character of our island, the protection of our natural wealth and primary production on land and sea.
We refuse to become a sacrifice on the altar of the profit of foreign and domestic economic interests.
We invite you to attend our gathering and highlight our problem through the outward-looking power of your words and image.
